After we receive and approve your proof of affiliation with a valid volunteer or nonprofit organization, you will be sent an electronic version of your Volunteer Card via e-mail. This e-mail will display a code for your insurance, which is already activated, and will include an image of your card. You can print this card and have it with you should you need to leave on your trip before you receive the permanent version of the card in the mail.
The most important information is the 24/7 emergency phone number listed on the back of the card, which you will call in the event of an emergency while abroad.
The e-mail will also give you instructions on how to register your card and create a username and password to access your discounts.
