The traditional name for the festival is Inti Raymi. It is a religious ceremony which celebrates the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year.

The Chinese New Year is a very poplular celebration of the new lunar year.

The traditional name for this festival is Loi Krathong. Releasing the lanterns is considered good luck and there is the belief that misfortune will float away with the lantern.
